Volunteers Needed

Call the office (270-351-6808) to add your name to the volunteer list. Someone will contact you soon. Please let us know how many hours and what days you prefer to volunteer. Be sure to complete the required volunteer background check form. See below.


Volunteer Background Investigation

Please download the background check form. You may scan and email the form (finance@newhopembc.net) or carry it to the church office along with $10. Keep in mind if you should email the form your social security number will be exposed.

You may also choose to pay online (Givelify) by clicking here. Please remember to add a comment stating the funds are destined for a “background check.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Will my child have an assigned area for homework? 

Answer: Yes. There are classrooms and tables set up for work areas.

Question: Will my child have a structured homework routine? 

Answer: Yes. We have a scheduled time for the students to complete their homework assignments. There is also time for the students to participate in other activities upon completing homework. Answers:  Yes, the volunteer staff will contact the parent immediately for all emergencies. 

Question: Will my child have assistance with homework? 

Answer: Yes. We have a staff of certified teachers and experienced volunteers to assist with homework.

Question: What if my child has a fever or shows signs of sickness?

Answer:  The volunteer staff will immediately contact the parent(s) to pick up their child/ren.  

Question:  Will I be contacted for emergency situations? 

Answers:  Yes, the volunteer staff will contact the parent immediately for all emergencies. 

Question:  Will the children always be supervised?

Answer:  Yes. We will have multiple staff members available to ensure supervision

Question:  Will there be transportation provided to the After School Program?

Answer:  Transportation will be coordinated with the HCS Bus Transportation.

This week the Kiwanis Club of Hardin County donated school supplies to the New Hope Family Life Ministries Inc.’s Youth Enrichment After School Program. We want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Darrall Olson for visiting our program and making a contribution.
