Feeding America is a nonprofit organization that is a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks that feed more than 46 million people through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other community-based agencies.
NHFLM has partnered with Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland (FAKH), to ensure no one in the community goes hungry. FAKH mission is to serve those in need by acquiring and distributing donated food, grocery items, and government commodities throughout almost 16,000 square miles of Kentucky. Their vision is that no one will go to bed hungry in their service area, and FAKH strives every day to make that vision a reality.

GED Hardin County Skills U is the lead program for the Heartland Adult Education Consortium (Adult Education) programs. Hardin County SKILLS U has always been about the future. For all Kentuckians to prosper, every citizen must be prepared to function well in the workforce, the community, and the home. The bottom line is simple. If Kentuckians have a good education:
Hardin County SKILLS U, a top ranked state program, offers classes to help people prepare for the GED Ready Test (mandated in the state of Kentucky), Official GED Test, Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE), College Entrance Assessment, National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC), Kentucky Essential Skills Certification (KESC), Kentucky Career Readiness Certification (KCRC), College preparation, and the Armed Forces Entrance exam (ASVAB).
